Sturm Nacht (Storm Night)

Sie schriebt in dem Buch,
eine Geschichte,
dass ich such.
Die in der Nacht des sturm beginnt,
wo den Mond scheint.
Dort trafen sich,
ein Schaf und einem Wolf.

Es war tragisch,
ich denk.
Es war romantisch,
sie glaubt.

Sie sagt mir dann,
sie liebten sich.
"Wie bitte?" frage ich, alsdann.

Ein starb und ein lebte,
"Wer?" ich fragte.
Derjeniger,
der die ander mehr liebte,
sie sagte.

Schauer, den Beginn,
und endet sie am Morgen
in dem Wald der Eichen.

Paraphrase (in English):
  The poem begins with the poet (me) saying a girl, she wrote a story in a book and I am in search of it. The story begins on a storm night where the moon shines and there met a sheep and a wolf. It was tragic, the boy thinks while the girl believes it was romantic. She tells the boy then that they loved each other. The boy says "come again?"
One died and one lived. The boy asks who. The girl says the one who loved the other more. Cloudy, the beginning and it ends in the morning in the forest of oaks.
